Dear Mr Hocking

My name is Raymond Chan and I was part of the fantastic Singapore Tour you liaised for my school orchestra from Macleans College in July.  As part of the tour itinerary we visited the National University of Singapore's presitgious Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music.  As a result of this visit I was so compelled and enthused after we got back that I applied for admission in the 2009 academic year.  In January this year, two senior staff members from the conservatory travelled all the way here in order to offer me an extensive live audition and interview for admission as part of their global scout for prospective students.  I have now been offically accepted into the Conservatory with a full scholarship.  I wanted to thank you for organising this life changing event which will always be remembered by everyone of us.
